m.suzuki.fbs at osaka-u.ac.jp脳の作動原理は未だに分かっておらず、現在の人工知能のそれとは根本的に異なります。脳の作動原理を解き明かすことは生物学的・医学的な重要性のみならず、次世代の人工知能の開発に代表される工学分野においても極めて重要な意味を持つことは間違いありません。この難問に対し、私たちは新しい道具や最新技術を組み合わせた独創的なアプローチを用いて、樹状突起や代謝型受容体を突破口と定め、脳神経回路の基本作動原理の解明に挑みます。

略歴：
Mototaka Suzuki obtained his Ph.D. from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland. He then had postdoctoral training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York and Humboldt University in Berlin. From 2021 to 2025 he was a Principal Investigator at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In 2025 he was appointed as a full professor at The University of Osaka.
