Abstract: Pain is defined as a subjective sensation that its treatment is determined based on the patient's report, but sometimes it is difficult to determine the cause of pain. We have developed a regression model to predict pain objectively based on EEG data of experimental pain stimuli using electroencephalography (EEG). Because of the large individual differences in EEG, such as age-related differences and noise, the conventional method requires correction using the individual's EEG data to improve accuracy. In this lecture, we report that we were able to improve the accuracy without going through the process of correcting individual data.
