Shinji Nishimoto received “Ichimura prize in Science for Distinguished Achievement” for his research of
“Development and application of brain modeling and decoding technology”.

The prize is to appreciate his work for developing a quantitative framework for analyzing human brain activity during complex natural experiences, and for showing the potential of its real-life applications.
