演題：Functional organization for object shape in macaque visual area V4

Abstract:
Recognizing shapes is a remarkable feature of the primate visual system. Visual area V4, an intermediate stage of visual object processing in the macaque brain, includes tons of neurons that exhibit selective responses for object shapes. We studied how the shape-selective neurons are spatially organized in macaque visual area V4. In my talk, I am going to show some results on the simultaneous recordings of neural activities from V4 neurons at different cortical depths using the high-density Neuropixels probe, and discuss whether we found any functional organization along with the cortical depth in our V4 recordings.
