Approximately 100 billion neurons in the human brain work rhythmically and cooperatively to produce various functions such as perception, memory, and movement. I am conducting research about the technology to manipulate the neural oscillations.

Specifically, I am using magnetoencephalography (MEG) to study the mechanism of how transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) affects neural oscillations. We also try to manipulate neural oscillations by rhythmic optical and sound stimulation.

This will lead to the realization of functional expansion of the human brain through non-invasive brain stimulation approaches.
