Abstract:
In our group, we are developing a robotic system that enables human-to- human transmission of motor skills. For successful human-to-human transmission of motor skills, it is important to understand neural correlates of inter-personal sharing of an action and of proprioceptive- motor coupling. In this talk, I introduce EEG Hyper-scanning (EEG recording from two persons simultaneously while they share a right-hand action requiring mutual haptic interaction) study conducted in the University of Reading and recent proprioceptive fMRI study in CiNet. In the EEG study, when a pair of persons successfully learned to share the action, 12-12.5 Hz power in the right sensory-motor cortices enhanced, which was not observed when a pair of persons did not learn the action. In the fMRI study, activity increase in the primary motor cortex and in the right inferior parietal lobule and their functional coupling seems to be important for proprioceptive-motor coupling and kinesthetic awareness. I am happy to discuss these results with all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/cinetjp-static3.nict.go.jp\/japanese\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event\/4672"}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/cinetjp-static3.nict.go.jp\/japanese\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/cinetjp-static3.nict.go.jp\/japanese\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/event"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/cinetjp-static3.nict.go.jp\/japanese\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4672"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
