Traditionally, the research of motor control and perception\/cognition has been studied separately, with the former focusing on how the brain learns to control the body, and the latter focusing on how the brain gathers and integrates input from the outside world. However, the relationship between these areas is not simple; we know that the boundary between action and perception\/cognition is ambiguous. Therefore, we must explore research programs that investigate the neural basis of action and perception on a common ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal of the 8th CiNet Conference is to bring together cognitive and systems neuroscientists who study motor control, perception, and decision-making to share and discuss the latest findings and future directions, with the aim of bridging the gap between research on motor control and perception\/decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
