My research focuses on processing of visual information in the human brain.   The processing of different visual stimuli depends on different neural mechanisms, for example, some brain areas are robustly activated by faces.

Conventional neuroimaging studies have provided many insights into these brains functions, but are still limited in their ability to identify fine-grained spatial and temporal processing in sub-regions of interest.

My goal is to overcome some of these limitations by using ultra-high field (UHF) fMRI such as 7 Tesla fMRI, to elucidate mesoscopic level function of visual processing areas.
